Privacy policy
Last updated: 15 May 2026
This privacy policy explains how Papi Labs Ltd ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you visit papi.tech.
The short version
This is a marketing website for Papi Labs Ltd. We don't collect your data, we don't use analytics, and we don't track you. The only thing stored is your accessibility preferences (theme, text size, etc.) in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them between visits. That data never leaves your device.
Information we collect
From this website, nothing that leaves your device. We do not:
- Use analytics services (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Mixpanel, nothing)
- Use third-party tracking cookies
- Collect personal information through forms (there are no forms)
- Track your browsing behaviour across sessions
Local storage
We use your browser's local storage to remember your accessibility preferences (theme choice, text size, high-contrast mode, underline links setting). This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us or anyone else. You can clear it at any time using your browser's settings or the "Reset all preferences" button in our accessibility panel (bottom-right of the page).
Hosting
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect basic technical information (such as IP addresses) as part of standard web hosting operations. See GitHub's Privacy Statement for details.
Third-party fonts
This website uses Google Fonts (Fraunces and Inter). When you visit, your browser may download font files from Google's servers, and Google may collect basic technical data during that exchange. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Our products
Papi Labs operates separate products (GuideKit, ClipShield, FairPlate®, OtterLog), each with its own privacy policy and operating independently of this website. This policy applies only to papi.tech. For details on how data is handled by our products, please refer to their individual privacy policies.
External links
This website links to external services (LinkedIn, GitHub, our product websites). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites and encourage you to read their respective policies.
Your rights under UK GDPR
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), you have rights regarding your personal data. Because this website does not collect or process personal data, those rights are not engaged here. If you have concerns, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's supervisory authority for data protection: ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add features that collect data (a contact form, analytics, etc.), we will update this policy and note the changes here.
